I was wondering if any of you guys have tried playing Corum 3 on Zeta 1.2... In my case it starts normally, displays 2 movie sequences and then freezes on a black background...
Please reply if u have a solution to this. 10x

This was also a problem in Zeta 1.1 (copy link to view)
http://yellowtab.com/phorum/phorum.php?read,42,123754,123754#msg-123754

Untested by me, but possible fix:
1. Obtain a copy of libmedia.so from BeOS R5 (IF Corum 3 worked with Zeta 1.0 & earlier then you should be able to use libmedia.so from those).

2. Create a subfolder called "lib" in the main game folder.
An example (I'm not sure what folders Corum 3 has):
../corum
../corum/graphics
../corum/sounds
../corum/lib (either this folder already exists or you create it)

3. Copy "libmedia.so" into "lib" folder

Now the game should work.

Same fix applies to the game Civ:CTP

Tried that just now, and didn't have any good effect on the application. Even worse, it skips the intro movies and displays a fuzzy logo and the hooks up.

I obtained that info from Haiku OS. Corum 3 doesn't work on that either. The links are below. Maybe they'll help you figure it out.

It has to be one (or more) of the libraries (.so). But knowing which to put into "lib" folder is the real question. And it could be a different issue with Zeta than it is with Haiku. (You can try either puting a few libraries in the lib folder & see if that does it or try different ones, one by one).
